Time Flies

Time flies when your back in the heat of volleyball season, turning another year older, having Thanksgiving and trying to shop for Christmas! I can't believe that I haven't posted a thing in over two weeks! I've been busy.

My birthday was a ton of fun! I got tons of cards, gifts, messages, and texts from friends and family. Thank you to all that made my birthday special. Tamara, Jess and I got facials and pedicures and then a group of friends got together for dinner and drinks. I'm still celebrating and will wrap up my birthday festivities tomorrow night at Cirque du Soleil's Kooza. Thanksgiving day we spent with our friends Michael and Emily and their little man, Evan. There was plenty of turkey and laughs, too much dessert and just enough football. Go Cowboys!

Seven million, nine hundred fifty three thousand, four hundred eighty one

That, my friends, is the number of leaves we raked up this morning. Fall is here officially so I must brag about having the biggest leaf pile on the block. Nothing else really interesting going on this week.

Well, I take that back. I am officially on the countdown for three things...two of which I can't tell you about. The one that I will forewarn you about is my birthday. We are at 17 days and counting!

Chunky and Pepper

We made it to "uncle" Dave's and "aunt" Rachel's for Halloween and got to go trick-or-treating with Chunky the turtle, a.k.a, Jack, and Pepper, a.k.a. Sammy.

Can you believe Sammy is already 2 months old?! He celebrated his first Halloween with a Mummy Loves Me outfit.
